Atkins Golf Club at the University of Illinois is an 18-hole public golf course located in Urbana, Illinois. The course, formerly known as Stone Creek Golf Club, proudly serves as the home of Fighting Illini men's and women's golf.

The vision of the course came to fruition in 1999 thanks to Clint Atkins and architects Dick and Tim Nugent. The beautiful course, located less than three miles from campus, provided a great test for locals and visitors for almost 20 years. In 2020, ownership shifted as the Atkins family made an incredible gift of more than 300 acres of real estate to the University of Illinois and the University of Illinois Foundation. Included in the gift, which was valued at $15 million, was the golf club and its associated buildings and equipment.

The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics partnered with architect Drew Rogers to enhance the already strong golf course by rebuilding all greens, repositioning and rebuilding all bunkers using the Better Billy Bunker system, and adding length to allow the teams to stretch the Par-71 course more than 7500 yards. The renovation has resulted in a championship venue that provides a fun and challenging golf experience to players of all skill levels.

The University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics hired a golf course management company, Troon, to operate daily golf operations. Atkins Golf Club also houses Oskee’s Sports Pub, a Fighting Illini-themed restaurant equipped with banquet and event facilities.

In 2025 Atkins Golf Club will host one of six NCAA Men's Golf Regional Championships, May 12-14.
