The Western Golf Association has launched ticket sales for the 2022 NV5 Invitational presented by Old National Bank, which will be played May 26-29 at The Glen Club in Glenview
SERVPRO of Glenview has partnered with the WGA to provide complimentary grounds admission to fans on all four days of the Korn Ferry Tour competition. Fans planning to attend the NV5 Invitational can register for their free tickets at www.nv5invitational.com/2022-tickets.Those registering online can also purchase upgraded tickets to The Hangar presented by Corona Premier, a premium spectator venue overlooking the 18th green with food and drink included.
Held for the first time in 2019, all three of the NV5 Invitational's past champions are now playing on the PGA TOUR. Scottie Scheffler - the event's inaugural champion - won the 2022 WM Phoenix Open on the PGA TOUR and is the No. 6-ranked player in the world. Curtis Thompson won the 2020 event at Chicago Highlands Club, and Cameron Young became the first player since 2013 to win back-to-back events on the Korn Ferry Tour when he won at The Glen Club in 2021.
"We're looking forward to bringing golf's future stars back to Glenview for the Chicago area's only annual professional golf championship," said Vince Pellegrino, WGA senior vice president of tournaments. "This event gives us an opportunity to showcase the best of golf's talented rising stars while raising critical funds for youth caddie scholarships."
All proceeds from the NV5 Invitational will support the Evans Scholars Foundation and its efforts to award full tuition and housing college scholarships to deserving youth caddies. This year, there are 1,070 Evans Scholars enrolled at 21 leading universities nationwide. Since 1930, more than 11,500 caddies have graduated as Evans Scholars.
This will mark the event's first year with new title sponsor NV5, after NV5, the WGA and the Korn Ferry Tour announced a five-year partnership in September 2021. With more than 100 offices around the world, NV5 is a leading provider of compliance, technology, engineering and environmental consulting solutions.
Old National Bank is in the second year of a four-year presenting sponsorship agreement. Old National Bank will host a junior clinic during championship week while also supporting the Evans Scholars Foundation's career services program, a resource that prepares Evans Scholars to launch successful careers after graduation.
