Located 45 miles south of Chicago Minne Monesse is a challenging 18 hole course with some fun holes that give you a chance to make a few birdies, built in 1926 as 9 holes closed during world wars reopened in 1959 becoming 18 in 1961 and revised in 1998 it has both nuances and charm of the old course with beautiful mature trees throughout, rolling hills, water on eleven holes, well conditioned and manicured tees, fairways, bunkers and greens, a nice practice area, putting green and driving range. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city Minne offers you a surrounding of peaceful country beauty with a course that is both fun and challenging to any level of player.

A friendly staff, well stocked proshop, full service restaurant and bar that over looks the 18th hole, great practice facilities and a beautiful golf course ensures an enjoyable day.

What Tips or Local Knowledge Would You Provide To Help Them Score Better At Your Course?
With the rolling nature of the course there are a few blind spots but there are hole lay-out signs on tees to assist you, want to keep drive on #1 and 2 middle left or be blocked by trees, # 3 bring out the bomber tuff par 4 # 4 beautiful par 5 with an elevated tee that shows you the way,#5 you can cut the dog leg if you can hit a high iron over trees on 2nd shot,#6 cute par 3, #7 you can drive the green if you can carry your drive over water 230,#8 carry the water on your tee shot and you'll have a good chance for birdie, #9 you can cut the dog leg over trees on rt. side if you can get the ball high enough, #10 a big draw sets you up perfectly,#11 reachable par5, #12 great par 3, #13 need a straight drive,#14 longer par 3 @195, #15 cute hole again if you can carry over creek 230 you can drive green,#16 great par 5, 17 & 18 have to keep it straight off tee to end with birdies

Recent Awards or What You Are Most Proud About The Course?
Minne is home to numerous tournaments, events, meetings, leagues and junior clinics. Rated best places to play by golf digest, it's the kind of course you never get tired of playing and every time you do you find yourself in new positions or angles to play.

What Is The Signature, Most Talked About, or Most Photographed Hole?
Our signature hole is #16 a par 5 with a creek that winds throughout the hole, with out of bounds on the right and trees on the left, it's a must to keep it straight and if you can you can make birdie because it is only 500 yds. #3 most talked about because it is a tuff par 4, 450 yds blind tee shot, out of bounds on left and an elevated green, you walk away feeling good with a par.

What Is Your Favorite Hole? Any Tips to Play It?
#4 is my favorite, it is a beautiful par 5 with an elevated tee that overlooks hole, water on right and left & huge willows near water closing in the driving area with a slight dog leg left to green with fairway bunkers on both right and left side only being 480 yds still a great par 5.

Must Have Dish or Drink after the round at the 19th Hole?
Our bar overlooks the 18th hole, there are many a bets there and if you feel bad about your round you can just come in a watch the other players coming in and know your not so bad after all. There are great drinks and sandwiches offered daily and on Friday nights, May thru Aug. we have fantastic fine dining the 12-14oz Walleye Pike is best seller along with lake perch, shrimp, stuffed chicken, ribs and prime rib, comfortable, fun setting with a very good staff.
